Outremer Cup 2010

Great edition for the Outremer shipyard 25th Anniversary: 16 catamarans, 140 crew members, and four days of nice racing with cool atmosphere ashore. A more and more international venue with yachts coming from Sweden, USA, Tahïti, Germany and even Brasil! Thanks to a fresh but nice weather, with increasing wind from 5 to 35 knts, everybody enjoyed runs over 20 knots in total peace of mind. At the end the winner is 'Free Lance', for her second entry. Her crew of fine racers, coming from sport catamarans (F18) has been the most regular. Congratulations! At last, she made a remarkable first Cup, the new 49 won the first race and could have finished on the podium without a nav mistake in race 4. Lot of nice pictures by Gilles Foucras here.
